If you have a Palm 700w and a unlimited data plan, you need to get the program PDAnet (www.junefabrics.com). It will allow you to tether your Palm to your laptop.
That means that you can connect your laptop to your Palm, via Bluetooth or the USB cable that comes with it, and use it as modem to connect to the internet.
This is the best program that I have bought for my 700.
